We are visiting Disney April 26 and 27 and plan to go to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Which day is better for each park? Thank you!

    Hi Wylie!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm so glad you stopped by to see us as you plan for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this month.  Springtime is beautiful in the parks and around the resorts.  I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time making magical memories that will last a lifetime!

Wylie, while it can be hard to predict crowd levels and conditions that may impact your park days, I typically prefer to plan my EPCOT days for weekdays as opposed to weekends.  This is especially true when festivals are in full swing, such as the current EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.  Flower and Garden might be my favorite EPCOT festival (shhh. . .don't tell the others!) with its gorgeous topiaries and the Outdoor Kitchens offering unique and delicious food and drink options that pair perfectly with the season.  If you happen to be staying at a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort in the Disney Resorts Collection, EPCOT is also scheduled to offer Extended Evening Hours on Monday, April 27, 2026, giving you even more time in the park to enjoy attractions with lower crowds.

Since you're planning just one day in each park, I'm happy to share a few tips that help me maximize my time in the magic.  Lightning Lane passes are available for purchase ahead of your visit, and we often use Lightning Lane Multi Pass to reserve return times for some of our favorite attractions.  If you're staying at any hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection (or other select hotels), you can also take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry.  This benefit allows you to enter the parks 30 minutes before they open to the general public - perfect for early risers looking for the opportunity to experience a must-do attraction or two before the lines get too long.  I also recommend using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering in the My Disney Experience app when dining at Quick-Service locations.  You can place your order online and select from available pick-up times, so you don't need to spend precious park time waiting in line for your food.  If you’re hoping to see Fantasmic! during your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I suggest checking availability for a Fantasmic! Dining Package.  With this package, you can enjoy a delicious meal from a Table Service restaurant in the park, and you’ll receive a voucher for reserved seating for the show later that night!

I hope this information has been helpful, Wylie, and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World!  Remember that you've got a friend in us here at planDisney, so please stop by again if you have any other questions!

    To Infinity and Beyond!
