I've been visiting Disney almost every other year since I was born. This will be the first year with a child. Zeke will be 15 months. Have you ever traveled with a 15 month child to WDW? Advice?

    Hello Kelly!

I bet you have had so many incredible experiences at Walt Disney World over your lifetime.  But, do you want to hear some incredible news?  I promise your trip with Zeke will top them all as your favorite and most MAGICAL yet!

All five of my children have been to Walt Disney World when they were 15 months!  Here are some words of wisdom as you plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World Vacation:

    1.  Take your time.  Traveling with a small child will increase your travel time coming, going, and navigating through each Disney Theme Park.  My advice is to take your time traveling to each attraction, enjoying the unique sights and sounds of each park.  Slowing down will also allow you to enjoy the "little things" of each park you have always missed.

    2.  Plan, plan, plan!  I cannot emphasize this enough.  Choose the attractions you want to ride before arriving at each park, and build in times of rest throughout the day.  Also, do not forget to pack plenty of snacks, drinks, and an extra change of clothes.

    3.  Arrive early to each Disney Theme Park!  The crowds during the first hour to 90 minutes after a park opens are very low!  You will be able to do and experience many things before the big crowds arrive.  If you have accomplished everything at each Disney Theme Park early, you then have the flexibility to go back to your resort for a nap or to hang out by the pool.

My biggest piece of advice is to recognize this vacation is going to be very different from your previous trips.  You will find that planning, preparation, and patience will most definitely make this upcoming trip "practically perfect in every way!"

    Have a MAGICAL day!
