We will be visiting in December with our 2 year old daughter. As of now, we aren't planning on purchasing a dining plan. What are your thoughts? Trying to keep down costs as much as possible! Thanks!

    Hi Felecia,

Thanks so much for your question. I think in your case, skipping the Dining Plan makes sense. Because your daughter is only 2 years old, she will be able to share your meals at no extra charge. In my experience when traveling with a little one, flexibility is key. When our children were in the baby and toddler stages, we chose to dine at mostly quick-service restaurants with one or two table-service meals here and there.

For us, this strategy made it easier to follow our baby's cues and that we weren't overcommitted. Paying for our meals out-of-pocket helped us stay flexible and ensured we weren't just keeping reservations to make sure we got our money's worth out of a Dining Plan. Your mileage may vary but this worked well for my family.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your vacation, Felecia. Thanks so much for your question!
