We will be visiting in December. We have a timeshare so we will not be staying at a Disney Resort. Can you still buy the dining plans? Also, I have a 15 year old who eats very little. Will she be able to order off of the kid menu at the restaurants?

Hi, Misty! What a great time of year to visit WDW...I love magical vacations in December! Only Disney resort guests can purchase the Disney Dining Plan since it is coded onto the Keys to the World card, and it's just one of those great little perks of staying on property. Yet, you can still make Advanced Dining Reservations for table-service meals. As far as ordering kids' meals, you place your order at quick-service restaurants without cast members knowing for whom the food is intended. Yet, for table-service meals, you will need for your daughter to order from the adult menu. There are many options, however, for light eaters at table-service as well as quick-service restaurants including salads, soups, appetizers and sides. If you're creative, you actually could come out with a lesser bill when ordering smaller items rather than a kid's meal. I hope this helps give you ideas for planning! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
