I will be visiting December 16 - 23, 2016. Can you tell me what the weather is typically like during that time of year?

    Hi Julie,

You're visiting Walt Disney World during my favorite time of year!  It's not only because it's the holiday season and the parks and resorts are decorated beautifully; it's also the fact that the weather is perfect!

The average temperature during Christmas week runs a high of 72 degrees and a low of 54 degrees.  It's perfect jeans and long sleeve t-shirt weather with an added sweatshirt or jacket at night.  A little warning though...I've been to Disney in December (a kabillion times)...it has fallen into the low 30s at night.  I am not a stranger to having to buy gloves, scarves and hats while I'm in a park (yeah, I know...the horror of getting cute Mickey stuff right?).

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel, Julie.  Have a pixie dusted vacation!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
