We are visiting in December we will have to rent a double stroller and an electric scooter. Can the scooters and strollers fit easily onto the monorail?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Amanda!

December is such a great time to visit Disney World!  The parks are decorated so beautiful for the holidays and there is just something extra exciting in the air.

All of the Monorail cars have now been converted to accommodate strollers and ECVs.  You can board any of the Monorail cars with the stroller.  The member of your party using the ECV will need to board in the handicapped accessible car so that the Cast Members can assist them by putting down a ramp to board.  Once you reach your final destination, a Cast Member will assist them by placing a ramp down so that the member of your family using the ECV can unload.

Keep in mind that you may have to split up between Monorail cars or at least board in separate sections depending on how crowded it is when you travel. While the Monorail cars have been converted, getting a double stroller and an ECV in one car may be a bit of tight squeeze.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
