    Hello, I will be visiting in December for the holidays. I've been hearing great talk about the gingerbread house at the Floridian Resort. Is the more than the display to see? Is there gingerbread you can buy? I can't wait to see all the decorations at WDW

    Hi Beth,

    The Holiday Season at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite seasons!  Imagine walking in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and smelling gingerbread while Christmas jingles are in the air.  Ahhh...I have to make a trip to visit this beautiful Gingerbread House every time I'm visiting Disney during the holidays!

    The Gingerbread House is tentatively scheduled to open for business on November 14, 2011.  Yes, you can buy yummy goodies such as gingerbread cookies, stollen bread, lollipops, chocolate chip cookies and chocolate-peppermint bark.  You can also purchase homemade gingerbread ornaments and miniature gingerbread houses.
