Hello Elizabeth! The holidays are one of my favorite times to visit Disney. It's the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!
One of my favorite events is
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). The party is being held December 13, 15, 17, 18 during your vacation. My favorite parts of the party are the Christmas Parade (I love the Toy Soldiers!) and, of course, the magical snow on Main Street U.S.A.
Cinderella Castle is always decked out for the holidays and is absolutely beautiful. Although there are lighting ceremonies of the castle during MVMCP, the castle will be lit up on non-MVMCP nights as well.
Over in Epcot, you'll want to enjoy
Holidays Around the World. I attended the Candlelight Processional last December for the first time. It will not be my last....this is now on my must-do on my list when I visit around the holidays. You may want to consider the Candlelight Dinner Package which will allow you access to reserved seating.
You may also want to set some time aside to visit different resorts to view the holiday decorations. My favorite place to go is the lobby of the Grand Floridan. I love to find a chair in the lobby and listen to the holiday music as I take in all the beautiful decorations - including the life size gingerbread house.
I hope this gives you some ideas. Please make sure you look through the highlighted links above for more information.
Diane :)
