We are visiting Dec 26 - 30 with my 2 year old granddaughter. I just checked the character breakfast/lunch/dinner options and they ALL seem to be sold out. Is this possible? Now what?

Hello Angela! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Character Dining Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort are often the most difficult Advanced Dining Reservations to obtain due to their popularity. Many Guests eagerly await the 180-day window for booking Advanced Dining Reservations and book them as soon as they are able.

This is especially true during dates considered high peak volume for Guests such as between Christmas and New Year's Day.

Whenever I plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and want to book a Dining Location that currently has no Advanced Dining Reservations, I resort to daily checks on My Disney Experience Account and the specific Dining Page on the Walt Disney World Resort site.

Guests are constantly altering scheduled plans up to the day before Advanced Dining Reservations, even up to the day before.  Due to Terms and Conditions on Canceling or "No-Showing" Reservations, many Guests back out of their original plans.

If you can be flexible with your planning, I recommend that you apply this tactic for the Character Dining Experiences you are most interested in.  I have consistently been able to pick up Advanced Dining Reservations for my favorite Dining Location, Be Our Guest Restaurant, by using this tactic. However, you may find it particularly difficult considering the dates of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Good Luck!
