Visiting Dec 24-30 this year. Looking at the MK calendar I don't see any mention of fireworks or Mickey's VM Christmas Party. Do those not occur the week after Christmas? If the fireworks still go that week, what is the time?

    Hi Jeremiah,

Wow, holidays at Walt Disney World. You have chosen a extra magical time to visit and are sure to make wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has its last event of the season just prior to Christmas, on December 22nd. However, the fireworks display, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, will still occur nightly throughout your visit. Since the schedule varies depending on the Magic Kingdom park hours, you will want to check a times guide upon arrival or on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Keep in mind that fireworks are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

One of my personal favorite things to do during that time of year is to explore the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and see them dressed up in their holiday best. You will be absolutely amazed at some of the gingerbread displays in some of them.

Be sure to go to Epcot during your visit and experience Holidays Around the World. Each country has displays and special performers that share the holiday traditions of that particular culture. This will continue through December 30th.

I wish you and your family the most festive holiday wishes.
