Visiting Dec 20-26, 2012. Plan to buy 3 day park hopper. We are 2 adults, a 9 year and a 1.5 year old boys. Seeking suggestions on best hotel, best 3 days to visit in those dates, which theme park be best to visit first, any special considerations?

    Hi Munish!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Walt Disney World will be packed starting that Saturday so you should definitely go into the parks on Thursday and Friday if you will have a full day on Thursday.  I would recommend avoiding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day if possible.  I definitely suggest saving Epcot for the busiest days as it does a great job absorbing the crowds.  Thus I recommend going to the Magic Kingdom on Friday 21 December and going to Disney's Animal Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios on the other day you decide to go.

The best hotel is a Disney Deluxe Resort or Disney Deluxe Villa Resort.  With young children, you might decide to spend more than one day in the Magic Kingdom.  Thus you should consider a Magic Kingdom Resort:  Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian, or the Fort Wilderness Campground.  After that, I would suggest staying in whatever resort meets your budget and that has availability.  I will tell you that my favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside and my favorite Value Resorts are Pop Century and the new Art of Animation Resort.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
