We are visiting in Dec '14 & have the dining plan. It looks like character meals for breakfast such as Chef Mickey & Crystal Palace will take up a table service. Will counter service be enough for dinner? I want CP early to get in MK early. Suggest

Hello Dawn.  Thank you so much for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When my family and I visit Walt Disney World we always chose the Dining Plan that offers 1 Snack, 1 Quick Service and 1 Table Service Credit per night.  I will be very honest with you, it is a lot of food!  We are so full all vacation long.  We do several character breakfast meals during our vacation and it works out really well. When we do that, we eat the Character Breakfast for breakfast, then enjoy a snack in the afternoon and usually save our Quick Service Credit for dinner.  Sometimes I purchase my daughter a popcorn out of pocket, but only because she is a muncher.  Be sure to use your Snack Credit wisely, don't spend it on soda or a bottled water.  There are numerous treats located throughout each Park and Resort that will tide you over till dinner.  Some of my favorite snacks are a Dole Whip Float at Magic Kingdom and a Carrot Cake Cookie at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope this helps Dawn.  If I can answer any other question you may have about the Disney Dining Plan or anything else about your upcoming vacation, please let me know!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
