Hi! Visiting in Dec. 180 days out in week & 1/2 to book dinners and special tours. Both early morning magic at magic kingdom & toy story land do not offer dates past end of Aug. Are these ending? Cannot plan visit. Will these still be around?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lorraine!

It sounds like you and I have a lot in common because the moment I book my Walt Disney World Resort vacation I am already thinking about all the special things I want to do, the FastPass+ selections I'm going to make, and the advanced dining reservations I'm going to book. I know it can sometimes be tricky to make those plans when everything isn't set in stone 180 days before your arrival when you want to book dining, so let's chat about what's going on with the schedule for Early Morning Magic and how it might fit into your vacation this winter.

Early Morning Magic is an exciting special event at both Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios and Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park that lets guests with tickets to that event enter the park before it opens to everyone else! It's a great opportunity to ride some really popular attractions, like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Slinky Dog Dash, with little to no wait. Since everything is really about the food for me, I love that Early Morning Magic includes breakfast too! Just last month, it was announced that the dates for both of these special events were extended through the end of August, so if it were to continue into the fall or winter, we should know about that a few months in advance. Keep checking the Early Morning Magic page to see if any more dates have been added, because you never know what might happen!

My best advice for you would be to plan as best as you can with the information you have right now and think about your top priorities. Go ahead and make the dining reservations that are really important to you, and if Early Morning Magic dates are announced for your vacation you can easily modify your reservations using the My Disney Experience app. If it conflicts with a special breakfast you had planned or a day that you were going to a different theme park, take a look at your plans and see what you'd rather do. I've found that the vacations where I've built some flexibility into my schedule are the ones that I've enjoyed the most!

    Have a magical day, Lorraine!
