Visiting in Dec. - 7am on day 60, no FP available for FOP or SDD. Same time last year I got FOP without a problem, not this time. SO, best plan? Rope Drop? or I've heard of people waiting until almost closing to get in line....Which is better?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tonya!

It sounds like you’re ready for a magical adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few short weeks. I hope you’re super excited! Are you ready to enjoy all the holiday magic? Don’t miss the Flurry of Fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and my favorite Christmas offering, the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. It’s truly majestic!

Tonya, like you, I’ve heard guests who have tried both arriving before park opening to try to be among the first guests to enjoy these popular attractions or staying late when many guests have already returned home. This is my personal opinion and not an exact science, but I’ve noticed arriving early for Slinky Dog Dash works best and staying later for Flight of Passage is preferable. Some of this is because I just adore Pandora- the World of Avatar at night. But both approaches will allow you to enjoy these attractions with lower waits, so you can enjoy more of the magic during your visit.

Be sure to keep checking back to see if any FastPass+ availability suddenly pops up. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to send it our way.

    Wishing you a magical day,
