Visiting in 50 days and want to take a trail ride and visit the Circle Triple D horse museum (ssh! Don't tell my horse that I want to ride another horse!). We are staying at AKL - how do I get to the stables and museum from AKL? Thanks!

    Hi Jeanie,

My motto (when I'm hanging with my friends) is "what happens at Disney, stays at Disney"!  Your horse will never find out, don't you worry:)

Getting to Tri-Circle-D Ranch isn't going to be difficult.  You can take a Disney bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs then switch to another bus that will take you directly to Fort Wilderness.  If you take a bus from your resort to Magic Kingdom, you would have to take a boat from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness Resort.  Of course, there's always my favorite way: CAB IT!  It will take about 20-25 minutes to get to Fort Wilderness and will cost approximately $20.  If your short for time, or just want to skip the connections, this is your way to go.

I hope this information helps.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical time!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
