Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Allan!
Something that I find really interesting about Walt Disney World Resort is how it operates much in the same way a city does. Hot new restaurants pop up, head chefs try new things and move to new places, and dining locations come in and out of vogue as more guests try them and word-of-mouth spreads around. At the moment, one of those really popular dining locations is
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at
Disney Springs, and since you've come here today to ask about it I think you understand why everyone wants to try it! There is nothing quite like classic Southern home cooking with that modern twist that we've come to expect from world-class chefs like Art Smith. It seems like reservations for this restaurant are booking up closer and closer to that 180-day mark, so it's definitely becoming one of those must-do dining locations.
If you haven't been able to find a reservation yet, my best advice is to keep checking. 180 days is a lot of time for guests to change their minds about where they want to eat, and since dining reservations can be made and modified so easily using the
My Disney Experience app, they tend to pop up now and again when plans get changed. Be open-minded about when you're going to dine and you never know what kind of magic might happen! You can also try to get a table by walking up when you're ready to eat, but be prepared for a bit of a wait and have a backup plan in case they're full for the night.
Have a magical day, Allan!
