    We're visiting over my daughter's 11th birthday in late November this year and will be at Animal Kingdom that day. Are there any special desserts that we should be on the lookout for to help her celebrate?

    Hi, Katie!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am so excited to hEAR that your daughter will be celebrating her special day at the Walt Disney World Resort!  This is sure to be a birthday that she will remember for yEARs to come, and I know that a special dessert would truly be the icing on the cake!

    No matter when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort, you're sure to find a mouthwatering selection of seasonal treats.  With Frozen 2 opening shortly before your visit, you can expect to see many desserts worth melting for throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more announcements regarding special holiday food offerings.  Since you will be visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on your daughter's birthday, you might want to stop into Creature Comforts or Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery to check out their selection of baked goods and sweet treats.

    Katie, did you know that you can also order a special birthday cake for your daughter?  You can arrange to have a specialty cake delivered to many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants or your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room.  Speaking of deliveries to your resort hotel room, you may also want to look into arranging an in-room celebration or gift delivery for your daughter through Disney Floral & Gifts.

    Be sure to also pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for your daughter from your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or any Guest Relations location.  She will love all of the birthday well-wishes she receives when she wears her button, and you never know what kind of pixie-dusted moments those buttons will lead to.
