Hello. We are visiting 8/26-8/31. My daughter has OCD and has problems in large crowds. She is already worrying. Although she is not physically disabled, is there accomodations for a disability of this sort? If there are, where can I find more info

Hi, Emily!  I have visited Walt Disney World with people of varying abilities, and I've been incredibly pleased with the compassion and understanding shown by the cast members at each theme park.

For your case, I would tell you to head immediately to guest services to obtain a guest assistance card.  Basically, with your explanation of your daughter's situation, the cast members will do whatever they can to help make her comfortable while waiting for rides, shows, or attractions.  In some cases, they will put you in a Fast Pass line so you don't have to wait in a crowded queue.  When possible, they will allow you to wait in an area away from the crowds if there is no Fast Pass lane available.

Be sure to explain the requirements of your daughter's condition so that the Cast Member understands what she needs, and I am confident that whatever they can do will be done.  I have traveled with people in all sorts of situations, and I have always felt well attended to by the Cast Members.

Have a wonderful time, Emily!  I hope your daughter's experience is absolutely magical!
