We're visiting from out of the country. Do I need to bring our family's passports to claim our tickets? Or can photocopies suffice and a school ID?

    Welcome, Marissa!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question regarding your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. I cannot wait for you to make your journey to the Happiest Place on Earth!

If you will be picking up your pre-paid tickets at the Main Entrance ticket booths, it is recommended that you bring your original passport (since photocopies may not be accepted) and the payment card used to purchase your tickets online. This will allow for the smoothest transaction so you can be on your way to enjoy the magical experiences at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

If you plan on purchasing alcoholic beverages at Disney California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney District, or at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, original passports are the only acceptable form of identification for non-US residents to show they are are at least 21 years of age. I definitely don't want you to miss out on some of these adult drinks at Lamplight Lounge or Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar (my favorites!), so having your passport handy is a must.

I hope this was helpful, and I welcome you back to ask any other questions you may have about your upcoming INCREDIBLE trip. Have a Fantasmic day!
