Hiya Lynne,
Welcome to planDisney!
Coronado Springs holds such a special place in my heart; it was one of the very first resort hotels that my Prince Charming and I stayed at together. The tower wasn’t built yet, but we love to go back and revisit the resort and enjoy a nice margarita over at Three Bridges when we get a kid-free moment.
Besides being a stunning resort, Coronado Springs is home to some incredible dining options, many of which can provide some delicious gluten-free options for you to enjoy. The
El Mercado de Coronado and
Café Rix are going to be a great place to start in terms of quick service options for breakfast and lunch. Offerings such as the Grande Fiesta Breakfast at El Mercado, for example, would be an excellent start to your day, and I’ve heard that the breakfast burrito at Café Rix can be made with a gluten-free alternative to a flour tortilla! To ensure that you have the best options available during your two-week visit, I recommend that when you arrive at your chosen restaurant, you ask a Cast Member to
speak with the chef. The chef will then be able to walk you through the menu to find the best choices for you and perhaps even offer some additional ones that aren’t listed.
I hope this was helpful, Lynne. Before I let you go, don’t forget that you can request to speak to the chef at any dining location, not just the ones at Coronado Springs. They are always available to make sure that you can enjoy a yummy treat or meal whenever you want one! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
