Visiting 7/2-3 Coro Springs, would like to view Celebrate America Fireworks at 9p from outside park. Please advise which locale is best if using resort transportation or my own car? Will I be able to park at a monorail resort? How much time should I allow?

How fun that you'll be able to see some of the best fireworks while at Walt Disney World! To watch the fireworks from outside the park, I like the spot outside of Gasparilla Island Grill or at the boat launch dock at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You could grab a snack or late dinner if you'd like, too. To get to the resort, you could take Disney transportation (monorail or boat) to the resort then take the monorail from the resort back to the Ticket & Transportation Center to get your car or back to the Magic Kingdom to get a bus back to your resort.

Another option is to walk or take the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort where there is an observation deck on the 4th floor to watch the fireworks. Some guests also opt to make dining reservations at the California Grill, which is a signature restaurant, because even if you dine early, you can return to the restaurant for the fireworks. The restaurant has a large observation deck with some amazing views since it is at the top of the resort. When the fireworks are done, you can walk back to the Magic Kingdom to catch a bus back to your resort or take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center to get your car if you drove.

While it doesn't take long to get to either resort, I'd try to leave around 8:00 pm to allow plenty of time to arrive and find a nice spot.

Wishing you a magical trip! -Kara
