We are visiting Copper Creek Villas for the first time. Tips for what to do, what to see and where to eat at the resort and around the area would be greatly appreciated…

Welcome to planDisney, Edith! Oh goodness! How exciting that you will be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in less than two weeks!

I think you're going to love Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! If you're feeling adventurous and want to be a wilderness explorer, there are many things to see and do! The Copper Creek Springs Pool is located right by your villas and Geyser Point Bar & Grill is just steps away when you are hungry. If you prefer to be more active, you can spend some time biking around the trails or fishing dockside, or on a guided fishing excursion. For another dining option, you can visit Whispering Canyon Café to have breakfast or lunch. Here, you can choose from a selection of their famous all-you-care-to-enjoy signature skillets. For a great dinner option, I recommend taking the water taxi over to Magic Kingdom Park and then taking a short walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Steakhouse 71 is one of the newest restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort and has an amazing menu! I would suggest checking now for an advanced dining reservation for your desired date and time. The Electrical Water Pageant makes its way around the shoreline at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground from 8:25 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and watching this would make for a magical way to end your day!

I'm wishing you an adventure-filled vacation and hope this information helps with your planning! Please visit us again at planDisney if you have any additional questions. We're always happy to help!

    Smiles,
    Lisa
