    Will be visiting over Christmas, staying at POFQ. What restaurant can you recommend for a traditional Christmas dinner, either in the parks or resorts?

    Hi Lisa!

    Our family loves staying at Disney during Christmas! Just thinking of it, I can smell the cookies from the Main Street Bakery and feel the "snow" falling from the Main Street rooftops at Magic Kingdom...

    I think every family probably has their own take on traditional holiday meals, but if your family is similar to ours, our Christmas meal is very similar to Thanksgiving (turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc.)

    That being said: The closest restaurant that offers that American traditional-style meal would be Liberty Tree Tavern at the Magic Kingdom.

    The dinner meal is family-style, and the entree (called the Patriot's Platter) serves up the following:

    • Turkey breast
    • Beef
    • Pork loin
    • Macaroni and Cheese
    • Mashed Potatoes
    • Stuffing
    • Vegetables

    So, except for the ham, you get many of the items you'd find at a table during Christmas! And it is oh so good! :-)
