Visiting over Christmas, want to spend at least 1 day resort hopping to see decor, is there a "list" of all the activities each resort offers? Movies, campfires..ect. Thanks and love the panel!

    Hi Jolene,

My family LOVE to check out the Disney Resorts during our trips and there is no better time to do this than during the holidays!

Each and every one of the hotels are decorated beautifully but I would most definitely plan on visiting the following:-

    1/ Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
This is without doubt number one on the list. Whilst here, you will be able to see the amazing Gingerbread House.
    2/ Disney's Beach Club Resort
This hotel is home to the magnificent Gingerbread Carousel.
    3/ Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort
There is just something about this resort which totally captures the spirit of the season.

If you have time, all of the deluxe hotels in particular are worth a visit. I can honestly say that I have never seen Christmas trees and decorations anything like it anywhere else.

If you are looking for a special treat, you could consider booking a Holiday Sleigh Ride at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Sleigh Rides depart every 30 minutes from 5.30pm - 10.30pm from 1 to 31 December 2012 and cost $60.00. They can be booked up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

All of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels now offer Movies Under The Stars. A comprehensive list of the movies offered at each Resort can be found on the unofficial website Build A Better Mouse Trip. Chip & Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long is held at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort each and every day weather permitting.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
