Visiting Chef Mickey’s and have diet restriction form vegeterian and eggless food. I don’t see much on menu with this diet restriction. How can I put request for special diet?

    Welcome to planDisney, Avani!

One of the highlights of any visit to Walt Disney World is enjoying those magical dining opportunities throughout the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Dining with dietary restrictions? You'll be able to enjoy deliciously safe meals, too!

First, take a look at this post regarding Special Diets Requests. You'll see that chefs can prepare meals that avoid more common allergens such as eggs, among others. Next, you should read Plant-Based Cuisine Options at Walt Disney World Resort. After perusing Delicious Dining and Look for the Leaf, scroll down to More Delightful Options and find "Disney Resort Hotels". There, you'll see Disney's Contemporary Resort restaurants--including the iconic Chef Mickey's. Plant-based options are listed there for meals with Mickey--both breakfast and dinner!

Because you'll need help navigating your options with two restrictions, I suggest that you ask a chef to come speak to you about what is safe to eat. Whenever we've visited with family members who have similar restrictions or food allergies, WDW chefs have been so accommodating. They are dedicated to keeping every guest safe while also offering them some outstanding meals. If possible, chefs can sometimes specially prepare something in particular, eliminating the ingredient that you just cannot have. We are always so impressed with Disney chefs' care and creativity--and we miss it when we're back home!

Avani, guests who adhere to a more restrictive or complicated diet may also contact the Special Diets team by requesting a Special Diets Request Form. Do so by contacting Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. The team asks that guests contact them no sooner than 14 days prior to arrival, so you're in the perfect window to get that form should you feel you need it.

As you put together all of your pixie-dusted plans for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Avani, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
