    Hi I will be visiting to celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday in April. Do you have any suggestions for rides for her age group?

    Hello Asia,

    First of all, let me wish your little princess a very happy early 3rd birthday! There is no place more magical to celebrate than Walt Disney World. It is sure to be a memorable one that she will remember forever. Be sure to ask for a birthday button!

    I have a great resource that will help you plan your days in the parks. Visit the planning page for traveling with preschoolers. This site offers sample itineraries, tips for making the most of your trip, and other great information.

    There are so many attractions that have no height requirement and are perfect for little ones. Here are some of my favorites that my daughter loved at that age.
    • Magic Kingdom - all of Fantasyland, Jungle Cruise, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bear Jamboree, Splash Mountain (must be 40 inches).
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kilimanjaro Safaris, The Boneyard (play area), Triceratop Spin, Rafiki's Planet Watch with the Affection Section (animal petting area).
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Midway Mania, Great Movie Ride (note: some intense scenes).
    • Epcot - Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Living with the Land, Soarin' (must be 40 inches), Journey Into Imagination with Figment, Frozen Ever After (my daughter has never ridden this, but I know she will love it on our next trip) 

    Don't forget that there are so many parades and stage show, too. These provide a wonderful opportunity to take a break take them off those tired little feet. There are also Kidcot Fun Stops in Epcot and Wilderness Explorers in Disney's Animal Kingdom.
