    I will be visiting from Canada. Last time w/ alcohol I was asked to show ID. I showed Canadian ID & they said invalid because can't tell if real & need passport. Can I bring a copy? I don't want to bring my actual passport in.

    Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us!

    I live in California, but my family often visits from Brazil. Since they're coming from another country, a passport is the only document consistently accepted as ID in the United States. I know it's probably not what you were hoping to read, but I think bringing your passport along is the best plan if you want to enjoy a sip of wine or two. 

    I carry my passport when traveling outside of the United States or Brazil, and I always keep it in a small, resealable plastic bag to keep it dry and protected from scratches or tears. It works brilliantly, especially for Grizzly River Run!
