Hello, we are visiting California Adventure for Oogie Boogie Bash in a couple weeks. Are we able to enter at the 3pm early entry to get wristbands then exit for dinner outside of the park and come back and reenter closer to the beginning of the party?

Hey there, hi there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney. You've come to the right place with your planning question!

Happiest haunts to you! I am so excited to hear that you have tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash! It's the event of the season, or some Guests would say the event of the year. That's how popular it is! I am happy to share that you are able to line up at 3:00 p.m. to enter California Adventure for the mix-in time, where you will get your wristband. Then you will be able to leave the park for dinner plans and re-enter with your ticket.

I am so glad that you have a plan in place for dinner. That is always my biggest tip for Guests! I always recommend that you plan dinner during the mix-in period or mobile order food earlier in the day for dinner during the event because mobile order time slots tend to fill up quickly. You don't want to be spending precious time in line to order dinner when there's so much to do! If you have been to the event before, you probably have a game plan as to what you want to prioritize and how to tackle it. If not, take some time to go over the offerings to see what you really want to do.

Nicole, I hope this helps you get ready for a spooktacular time! Thanks for stopping by!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
