We are visiting 11/26-12/3 (2 boys, 4 & 8)-trying to decide how many days to buy tickets. We're thinking of a 7day pass& maybe doing Downtown Disney one day & going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas that night (also have tix)- any suggestions?

I would do just that if I were you, Nickie.  Downtown Disney has a lot to offer; I think you'd be remiss to skip it.  Seven day tickets will allow you plenty of time to explore the parks.  In fact, you might be safe cutting it down to six days in which case you would spend six days in the parks, one day at Downtown Disney, and leave the other afternoon free to relax before Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party.  You'll be surprised at how exhausted you'll be after all that excitement in the parks.  Reserving a couple of days for down time might be just what your itinerary needs to make it perfect!  Have a great trip.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
