We are visiting on Base Tickets, without the Hopper option. We dont want to visit Epcot, but we want a dining experience at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Is that possible or must we be visiting Epcot?

    Hi Jeremy!

Unfortunately, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is located in the Norway Pavilion inside Epcot and you will need to enter the park to get there.

By the way, Epcot is a great theme park.  For many, many years it was my wife's, 10 year old son's, and my favorite park at Walt Disney World.  It's still my wife's favorite park and in second place for my son and me.  If you've never been there, I highly recommend visiting it.  Soarin' is an incredible attraction, and shouldn't be missed.  Illuminations, the nighttime spectacular is many guests favorite activity at night in any of the theme parks.

Epcot has had the unfortunate reputation of not being a child-friendly park.  However, I think Disney has spent a lot of effort over the last ten years changing that.  Both of my children love Epcot and can easily spend 2 days there.

    Have a magical vacation!
