    We will be visiting Aulani with our 15 year old son. He is really into history and is very excited to visit the USS Arizona, Missouri, Bowfin, etc. Can you tell me what other activities besides those mentioned are available that are similiar? Many thanks!

    Aloha Itza!  Welcome to the Moms Panel, and thanks for asking me your Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa question.  How wonderful that your son is an avid history buff - Hawaii is such a great place to learn about some of the most important events in U.S. history.  You've already found some of the history hot-spots, but I can definitely recommend a couple more.  The U.S.Army Museum comes highly recommended for military history buffs, and is located on the edge of Waikiki.  Best of all, the cost is free!  Their website is hiarmymuseumsoc.org and you can find out more information there.  They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.  The other option, while not strictly military related, but highly recommended as well, is the Bishop Museum.  This is a wonderful museum that focuses on the history, and culture of Hawaii, and is great for older children.  They are located in Honolulu, and admission is under $20 per person, with discounts for military personnel. Their website can be found at bishopmuseum.org and they are closed on Tuesdays.

    While you are staying at Aulani, please don't hesitate to stop by the Concierge Desk and speak to the Concierge about their favourite must-do's.  Being local to the area, they may have some awesome recommendations that we may not be aware of.
