We will be visiting in August and were wondering how uncomfortable it would be to go horseback riding in FL during our visit. Also, our daughter will be exactly one month from her 9th birthday. How much of a stickler is Disney with the age requirement?

Hi, Laura! There is no doubt; it will be hot, but that doesn't keep Guests from horseback riding in August.  The key (like with any activity in hot weather) is to stay hydrated. I don't think that the Cast Members will question your daughter that closely to her celebration. You don't have to show birth certificates to participate. If a question arises, simply tell them that this visit is for her ninth birthday which is just a few short days away.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
