Hi Suzanne! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this summer. Before you know it, you'll be arriving for a magical holiday filled with countless memories that you and your loved ones will cherish for years to come.
You'll be happy to know that Walt Disney World typically releases park hours about 60 days in advance. You can find them on the
5-day calendar listed on the website. Along with park times, you will find specific hours for special events, early entry, extended evening hours, and park hopper availability. This will be your one stop shop for everything you need to know to plan your itinerary. Keep in mind that hours can be released at any time, so I would use the 60-day mark as a guide but check back sooner in case they get released early.
If you're staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotels,
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours will be available to you when you arrive. You should have plenty of notice of when they will occur so you can plan which parks you want to visit accordingly. These extra hours allow you to ride many of the attractions with minimal wait times. Plus, there is something special about exploring the parks at night under the lights!
Suzanne, I hope you have a wonderful time during your stay! Keep in mind that if you are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, you also have access to
Early Theme Park Entry each day you visit the parks. This extra time will give you a leg up on other Guests that need to wait until the official park opening time.
Happy planning!
Greg
