    hi, we will be visiting august 2012. we are staying at the contemporary but want to make early breakfast reservations at the grandfloridian. what time do the monorails start running? we would like to know this to be able to make reservations.

    Hi Amanda! I have been told that the monorails start running typically 2 hours before the Magic Kingdom opens or 1 hour before Extra Magic Hours in the morning, which usually means they start running at 7am. Go ahead and make your early breakfast reservations. That gives you the rest of the day to play! Have a magical day! Leslie
