I will be visiting in August 2020 at the Polynesian Resort. I want to bring decorations from home to surprise my family with. Can I arrange for the decorations to be set up in the room while we are out to dinner?

    Hiya Everett!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I noticed that we live in the same state! Don't you love living so close to Walt Disney World Resort? I think my favorite thing about being a Floridian is that I am a quick ride away from making magical memories!

Speaking of magical moments, it sounds like you have a fantastic one coming up in a few months! I love that you want to surprise your family with enchanted decorations, and while it is a fabulous idea, Jaq and Gus have a few requirements. They can't set up your decorations from home ("THE" Mouse says no!), but they are more than willing to decorate with the help of the fantastic Fairy Godmothers at Disney Floral & Gifts.

Depending on what you are celebrating, whether it be a birthday, anniversary, or first visit to Walt Disney World Resort, they've got you covered! I've decorated our room for the holidays (Shhh! Don't tell the kiddos!), and my husband has surprised me with flowers for my birthday, or just because. Whatever the occasion, they will sprinkle pixie dust while you and your family are out. You can schedule the surprise online, and pick a time for them to work their magic. Be prepared to be out of the room for a while; masterpieces take their time!

Everett, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. We are all EARs!
