Greetings Courtney, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple is one of the most popular experiences for younglings ages 4 to 12 at the Walt Disney World Resort. Besides training in the ways of the Force, they also have to put all their skills to the ultimate test by confronting the Dark Side.
We visited with our padawan last year, and she had one request only, to train to become a Jedi. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so I kept hearing Master Yoda in my head: Do or do not. There is no try! We were successful in landing her a spot in one of the shows, and I will never forget her excitement and the look on her face when she realized she was battling Darth Vader. Here is what I have learned:
- Arrive early! Be at the front entrance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios at least one hour before scheduled park opening. Pay attention to days when morning Extra Magic Hours are offered.
- Once you are allowed in the park, head straight to Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost located between the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the 50’s Prime Time Café to register your padawan. Your child must be present for registration. Wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared to walk fast, or should I say run fast?
- If you have breakfast reservations at 9:15 a.m. then you must be sure to arrive at least one hour prior to park opening and register first. Remember that a dining reservation is only held 15 minutes past reservation time. If you feel that you are going to be running short on time, you can try to register later in the day, as there might be some children who won’t show up for their scheduled time.
I hope that you are able to sign up your padawan. Maybe the Force be with you!
