Hello! Visiting in August 2015 with DH, DD11 and DS4.....wondering what my 4yr old son can do/see in each of the Theme Parks? Favorite character is Mickey but loves them all! Also, which week in August of 2015 do u think the LOWEST crowd levels?

    Hi Natalia,

A trip to the Walt Disney World Resort sounds like a great way to kick off the school year. Rest assured there will be many magical moments for your 4-year old during your visit.

I have been bringing my sons to Walt Disney World Resort since they were babies. They are ages 6 and 3 now and they love all four theme parks! To help you with your planning, check out this page on the Walt Disney World Resort website just for parents of preschoolers. This is a wonderful resource for learning about what each park has to offer.

My youngest is also a big fan of Mickey Mouse. Some of his favorite activities on our last trip were Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom park, Disney Junior - Live on Stage! at Disney's Hollywood Studios and of course, wearing his very own set of Mickey Ears.

If you are looking for lower crowds in August, I suggest making your plans as late in the month as possible. You can also check estimated crowd levels on websites like Touringplans.com or Undercovertourist.com and compare which dates work best for you.

Wishing you a vacation full of magical memories, Natalia. Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be sure to say hi to Mickey for me!
