Visiting in August with my daughter and 3 grandsons. We are staying at All Star Music. Think that it would be a good idea to do the mid day break and then return to the park late afternoon/evening. Wondering if the parks close due to crowd levels?

    Hi Diane!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I have visited Walt Disney World Resort several times in August, and I do not remember the parks closing due to reaching full capacity.  While nothing can be guaranteed, I think this is more likely during holiday seasons (4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, etc.).

I think it's a great idea to have a midday break - we always do that.  Once refreshed, you will all enjoy the parks more in the evenings.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
