Visiting Art of Animation November 2013 wondering what the policy is on the in room charge is there an automatic amount the Value Resort gives compared to Moderate etc....? Wondering mind needs to know!!

    Hi Laurie,

I believe your question relates to the daily pre-set limit on how much you can charge to your Key to the World room key card, which you can tie to a credit card for charging privileges.

Interesting that you should ask! As many times as I have been to Walt Disney World (too many to count!) and stayed in all levels of resorts, I had never noticed there was a difference in the daily limit until recently, when I split my stay between a value resort and a deluxe resort.

That's when I realized that the daily maximum was $500 at the value and $1,500 at the deluxe. The limit at the moderate resorts, one of my more observant Moms Panel friends told me, is $1,000. Obviously, I've never topped out my daily limit at the value resorts, which is where we stay most of the time, so it hasn't been an issue. But now I know.

At any of the resorts, you can ask for the daily limit to be reduced if you choose, and you can specifiy which members of your party can have charging privileges and which ones cannot.

I hope that answers your question. Enjoy your visit!
