Hello Keith, welcome to planDisney!
I think any time I visit Disney World is the most wonderful time of the year, but there is only a certain time you can see
snow on Main Street, U.S.A., or celebrate
holiday traditions around the world in EPCOT.
I’m happy to share that Walt Disney World will be celebrating the holidays from November 14 through December 31, 2025. Not all of the details have been shared yet, but
Disney Parks Blog posted a great roundup of what you can expect around Walt Disney World Resort. Santa will be meeting in each of the four theme parks and Disney Springs leading up to Christmas. Most times and locations have not been released yet, but I could find that
Santa will be meeting daily in CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT. The information for other meeting locations and times can be found in your My Disney Experience app during your visit. Click the location pin at the bottom of the app and scroll to “Characters.” Click “Show List” and look for Santa’s information. In the past,
Disney Springs has used a virtual waitlist for Santa. You will see signs posted around Disney Springs with information on how to join the waitlist if that option is used again this year. If you’re interested in traditions around the world, check out the
Holiday Storytellers Around World Showcase. My favorite is A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa in Norway, but it is truly a reminder that “it’s a small world after all” when learning how Santa is portrayed in several other countries.
According to Disney Parks Blog, in Hollywood Studios, you can find several characters dressed in holiday gear. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz will be festively dressed in Toy Story Land, and you can meet Minnie and friends as you enjoy a meal at
Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine. Mickey and Minnie will also be meeting in Animal Kingdom in holiday outfits. As far as characters dressed as Santa, Santa Goofy has made appearances in previous years, so I recommend using the My Disney Experience app to see if he’s greeting guests again in 2025.
Don’t forget to check out the holiday décor at the Disney Resorts, Keith! The Disney Parks Blog will share a
Disney Eats Foodie Guide with a list of holiday offerings around Walt Disney World Resort in the future, so look out for that! Last year, my family visited Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and I purchased some delicious holiday cookies and even met one of the pastry chefs of the Resort! Enjoy your upcoming vacation, and if you have any more questions, please come back to see us at
