Visiting in April with a 4 and 2-year-old. Want to make ADR at H&Vine to get seats for the Fantasmic! show during Extra Magic Hours. Planning to go from dinner straight to show (maybe small break in between). What is a good time to make dinner reservat

    Hi, Jennifer!

    This is a great plan!

When we want to include Fantasmic! in our plans for a great day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, we always try to book a Fantasmic! Dining Package.Your little ones will love dining at Hollywood & Vine, too, as the food is not only fantastic, but the fact that it's a buffet is super-convenient for little tummies that need to be filled as soon as they are hungry. (And that new chocolate fountain at lunch and dinner is super-cool!)

For dinner reservations, we always tried to book something early when our kids were little so that they weren't too tired by the time dinner rolled around. In addition, an early dinner (4:00 or 5:00, for example) is also a great time for a break, giving you at least an hour off of  your feet, relaxing and dining at your own pace. You'll be given a voucher for your Fantasmic! VIP entrance, and should arrive at the entrance at least 1/2 hour prior to the start of the show. (Ask your server at the time of your visit, in case she or he has more specific information for the week of your stay.) You can dine here as quickly as you'd like...or linger longer, should you like to stay for an hour or so.

After dinner, spend some time visiting favorite attractions, shopping or let the kids burn off some energy at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure. (Mine LOVE it!)

Then grab a drink and a snack and head over to the VIP entrance for Fantasmic! It will be a night you're sure to enjoy.

Send more questions as you think of them, Jennifer; we love to help!
