We will be visiting on April vaca. We are making dinner reservations (we have the dining plan) and wonder if a reservation each night will be too overwhelming. Also, what time do you recommend for dinner, early, varried? We have a 7 and 3 yr.olds.

    Teresa:

Our family's experience with the dining plan is that it offers PLENTY of food.  If you have picky eaters or little birds, you might want to double up two of your table credits and enjoy one of the nicer dining experiences or a dinner show.  We've always found that we didn't miss the meal!

If you think table dining at night--all week long--is too much, consider using a table credit for a Character Breakfast.  Or if your family are late risers, just turn it into a brunch with a late breakfast seating of 10:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.

I would heartily recommend making dinner reservations around the times that you would normally eat at home.  But keep in mind that this may not work out if you have a favorite restaurant at which it's tough to get a seating.  Have a few alternative restaurant choices around the same time you're going for.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
