There's nothing quite like experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort with family and friends, and linking everyone together makes planning a breeze! Plus, with MagicBands, you can tap into the fun with theme park entry, link Disney PhotoPass pictures, redeem Lightning Lane selections, and even make purchases throughout the resort.
Let's get your Annual Passholder friend linked up so they can join the fun! First, they'll want to ensure their Annual Pass is linked to their MyDisney account and that their MagicBand is paired as well. If they've already done that—perfect! If not, have them submit a question, and I'll be happy to walk them through that process.
Next, you'll need to add this Guest to your Family & Friends List within the My Disney Experience app, which is the easiest way to do it:
- Open the My Disney Experience app and tap the ☰ (menu) icon on the bottom right.
- Scroll down, select My Profile, and then navigate to the Family & Friends List tab at the top right.
- Scroll down and choose Add a Guest. You can enter the Guest's name and age, scan their linking code, or find them through connected Guests.
- Once they accept the invitation, you'll be connected!
*Make sure you have the "Yes, share my Family & Friends list" selected.
Once linked, you should be able to add them to your theme park and dining reservations and book Lightning Lane selections. As the only Annual Passholder in my family, I had to go through this process to ensure my family was linked to our Disney Resorts Collection reservation, advance dining reservations, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchases for our upcoming trip.
