Thanks for reaching out to planDisney to help you find your vacation planning "happily ever after." You'll be visiting during a very exciting time! Recently, the Walt Disney World Resort announced the nighttime spectacular "Happily Ever After" will return to Magic Kingdom Park on April 3, 2023, AND TRON Lightcycle / Run is scheduled to open on April 4, 2023. Just in time for your visit!

I'm always eager to make all of my Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans as soon as possible, but you'll have to hold on a bit longer. The park hours for the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks are typically posted about 60 days in advance or earlier. I'd suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar again in early February.

As for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend, you'll find that there are usually road closures or detours, and some of the theme parks will open a bit later on the morning of the runDisney events. The runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend events will begin on April 13, so you should be in good shape unless there are other planned events taking place during your visit.

You'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during one of my favorite times of the year. It's too early to know for sure, but the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival may overlap with your visit. Keep checking back to see when the dates will be announced. This gardener loves seeing the impressive topiary displays around EPCOT's World Showcase. You have so much to look forward to. Let me know if you have any other questions.
