We will be visiting april 23rd-27th. I am using an app that projects crowds to be high for Epcot on 4/24 & magic kingdom on 4/26. the app got great reviews but all the research I did online says low crowds end of April. So which do i believe?

    Hi Bobbi!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

This is a good question!  My research shows that generally crowds are moderate during the last week of April, through May.  However, on the days you have mentioned - April 24 at Epcot, and April 26 at Magic Kingdom park, they are both operating Extra Magic Hours between 8.00-9.00 am.  These Extra Magic Hours are available exclusively to Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests, giving them the opportunity to enter the parks an hour earlier than other guests, and enjoy shorter lines for select attractions.

I think the reason your app is projecting high crowds for these two days is because Extra Magic Hours can cause higher crowds.  This is not always the case, but it is worth being aware of this possibility.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
