Visiting April '13, - excited to eat at the new Be our Guest! But my kids don't like the kid's menu choices. Are we able to buy food from say, Pinocchio Village Haus, put it in my purse and let my kids eat it with us when hubby and I get our BOGR order?

    Hi Rosalie,

No, I'm afraid it would not be advisable to bring food from another restaurant into the new Be Our Guest restaurant during its table service hours.  However, there are a number of ways you could handle the situation.

    1.  Sit with your children as they dine at Pinocchio Village Haus before your reservation at Be Our Guest.  Then just order dessert for the kids at Be Our Guest.

    2.  Let your server know when you are seated at Be Our Guest that your children are having a tough time finding something appealing on the kids' menu.  More than likely, the server and chef will help you find something that will please your kids.  Maybe they can remove the sauce from an item on the menu or offer a more pleasing alternative.  This is a bit riskier than option #1 but the Disney chefs are famous for their ability to accommodate even the most picky eaters.

If you plan to dine at Be Our Guest during the period of time when they are serving quick service meals, it would be less problematic to bring food from Pinocchio Village Haus but I think it would still be awkward.  Instead, I think I would opt for plan #1 or #2 from above.

Best wishes for a magical trip next spring!
