We will be visiting in April, 2014 and have the Dining Plan. If my 11 year old grandson cannot find a table service meal he likes, can he order off the children's menu instead? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Rose,

    Great question!

I'm one of those "never say never" kind of guys, so it certainly can't hurt to ask if your grandson could order off of the children's menu if he can't find anything he likes on the adult menu. Although, I wouldn't worry too much because the menus at the various restaurants around Walt Disney World are planned-out so they can easily accommodate a pretty wide spectrum of preferences. So, you'll see a range of dishes that would appeal to guests with adventurous palates as well as guests who may prefer more straightforward dishes.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

If your grandson sees a dish that may be of interest to him, but isn't quite a slam-dunk because of a few noted ingredients, feel free to ask if the dish can be modified. The culinary team at Walt Disney World is great about accommodating special requests whenever possible.

I hope that helps! If you should have any additional questions, or would like the scoop on a particular restaurant, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
