Hi! We are visiting in April 2017 with 6 adults and 4 children. The adults would like to have a night out to celebrate a birthday and we're wondering if there is somewhere for childcare the kids can go and have fun for a few hours.

    Hello, Lauren!

I like the way your plan! When planning a night out to celebrate an adult's birthday, you have two childcare options. Kid's Nite Out is an in-room childcare service for Mouseketeers ages six months to 12 years old. Rates vary depending on the number of children and a $2 charge per hour is added after 9 P.M in addition to a one-time transportation fee of $10. Reservations can be made by calling (407) 828-0920.

You can also take advantage of one of the Children's Activity Centers. Mouseketeers ages 3 to 12 are immersed in a variety of themed activities to keep them entertained. At this time, there are four convenient locations: Simba's Clubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sandcastle Club at Disney's Beach Club Resort, Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Camp Dolphin at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. To learn more about these centers or make a reservation simply call (407) 939-3463.

I hope you have a fantastic night celebrating and enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort nighttime entertainment! Please visit us again with other questions you may have as you continue to plan your visit!
