    I will be visiting animal kingdom on 9-4 and was hoping to visit the affection section, but the schedule says it's unavailable, what does that mean?

    Hi Beth,

    My son has always loved to spend time at the Affection Section at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and we usually tend to visit this area at least once during each and every visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    As of right now (15 July 2016), it is only possible to see the Hours that this attraction will be open for dates upto and including July 30, 2016.

    The Walt Disney World website currently states "No times available" for this attraction on September 4, 2016. I wouldn't worry about this at all. You will most likely find that the Hours for this attraction will be updated for the date of your intended visit as that date draws closer.

    As it stands, the Affection Section is not due to be closing for refurbishment and I can't see any reason at all why this attraction wouldn't be open when you visit.
