Oh my goodness, Sheila! Your visit is
tomorrow!! I'd be happy to give you a few ideas of how to experience
Avatar Flight of Passage with a shorter wait. This attraction is incredibly popular, with good reason! It is like nothing I have ever experienced before, and I can't help but have a huge smile on my face every time I ride!
First of all, I would keep checking
My Disney Experience today and even tomorrow to see if a
FastPass+ reservation might become available. Other guests' plans change all the time, and you never know what might pop up.
I took a look at the
park hours for
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for tomorrow and I see the park will be open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, with
Extra Magic Hours from 7:00 to 8:00 am. If you are a guest staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel or other participating hotel that is eligible for Extra Magic Hours, I would definitely take advantage of the lower crowds earlier in the day. I would plan to arrive at Animal Kingdom no later than 6:30 am.
If you are not eligible to participate in Extra Magic Hours, check the wait times in the
My Disney Experience mobile app when you arrive. Since many arriving guests will be headed right to Avatar Flight of Passage first thing, the standby line does build rather quickly. You may be better off enjoying shorter wait times in other areas of the park, and return to Avatar Flight of Passage later. I recommend hopping into line just before park closing time. All guests in line prior to park close will be permitted to ride. Since no more guests will be entering the FastPass+ queue after park close, the standby line will move much more quickly. My son and I did this recently and waited about 45 minutes at the end of the day.
I hope that helps! Have a wonderful visit tomorrow. As the Na'vi say,
Sivako!
